A recent Yougov poll revealed that 54 per cent of those surveyed think "Labour have seriously lost touch with ordinary working people" and 62 per cent believe that Ed Miliband "would not be up to the job of Prime Minister".
After the damage done by the previous Government to the public's finances, while both Ed Miliband and his Shadow Chancellor Ed Balls were advisors to Gordon Brown at the Treasury, this comes as absolutely no surprise. The opposition lacks any coherent economic strategy and veers between denying that there is a huge budget deficit and suggesting that the solution to a debt crisis is more public spending and more debt.See the full content of this document
