WHAT sort of person would drive more than 250 miles to go t o t h e f u n e r a l s e r v i c e o f someone they had never met? That's an awful long way to travel to pay your respects. But it's exactly what top-flight referee Mark Halsey did to say farewell to Exeter City striker Adam Stansfield.
He said that as someone who had recovered from bowel cancer, the disease which tragically claimed Adam in August, and that as a member of the 'football family', he felt it was something he just had to do.
