Police in Tiverton are appealing for witnesses after damage valued at around pounds1,000 was caused to wooden fencing in the town.

Approximately 100 metres of wooden post and railings along the path at Heathcoat Way, opposite McDonalds restaurant, was torn down and thrown into a nearby stream.
