Devon County Council has stepped in to plug a funding cut from Defra which could have resulted in job losses in trading standards.
Devon has been forced to accept a 12 per cent cut, equivalent to pounds44,000, from this year's Defra budget for trading standards officers to carry out animal disease control work.See the full content of this document
