WHEN Matthew and Rebecca Cooper had difficulty finding an ice cream van that would drive out to their home in Stockleigh Pomeroy for their daughter's birthday party, little did they know it would lead to a business venture.

They purchased an old-fashioned 1920s Pashley ice cream tricycle online. It was given a fresh lick of paint and then the couple bought a striped blazer and straw hat.
