EXETER'S new Toys R Us store will welcome its first customers today.

More than 40 jobs have been created at the 30,000 sq ft outlet at Bishops Court Retail Park, Sidmouth Road, and bosses are confident it will be a success. It is the retail giant's 75th store in the UK and one of more than 1,300 in 33 countries around the world. Toys R Us is preparing to celebrate its 25th Christmas of trading in the UK and store manager John Polverino said the company has had its sights on Exeter for a long time.
