PAUL Tisdale has played down Exeter City's chances of re-signing defender George Friend. The Grecians chief admitted he has offered the City youth product the chance to return to St James's Park on a permanent deal following his release from Premier League outfit Wolverhampton Wanderers. But Friend is keeping his options open for the moment and Tisdale admits he expects the youngster to be snapped up by a club in a higher division before the end of the summer.
