MORE than 2,000 comments have been submitted over proposals for 19,400 new houses in East Devon.
The comments make up the public response to East Devon District Council's Local Development Framework. The document will eventually guide planning policy in East Devon for the next 15 years, with the main focus on the so-called West End of the district, close to the new community of Cranbrook, Exeter Airport and the M5. It is to be submitted to the Government for approval and includes plans for about 3,500 new homes in Exmouth, and 1,000 in Axminster.See the full content of this document
