A SCHEME which encourages drivers to fill the empty seats in their cars by offering regular lifts has become the most successful in the country, attracting 7,000 members.
Carsharedevon.com is a free service which encourages commuters to travel together and split the cost, cutting congestion and emissions. The programme is run by Devon County Council, in partnership with Plymouth and Torbay, and was boosted by Devon Car Free Day last month.See the full content of this document
