A WHILE ago I wrote a verse, To get folk to see the light, I hate to say I told you so, But it's proving I was right. No one wanted to listen, to what I had to say, Now the ones that voted Tory Have begun to rue the day. All seemed to have amnesia, And some had lost the plot, They'd forgotten Margaret Thatcher, So something worse they got. Just up sticks and move house they say, Don't be a lazy slob But you won't stand a cat in hell's chance To get yourself a job. All industry and factories and shops in busy towns Will be the price for voting Tory With everyone closed down. Some are feeling disgruntled Well they are not alone Cos when they voted Tory, They lost the right to moan. It's now too late to listen, all you lasses and you men, Our lives face demolition By the appropriate Con-Dem. The fans of the Tories, That are beginning this saga Would have done better to turn to pop music And changed their names to Ga-Ga.
Well, that's that then. But I do wonder if I'm the only one with a brain cell that's still working.See the full content of this document
