I was disgusted by the story Blow for village parents as school's intake is cut for move to new town, Echo, July 9, about Clyst Vale Community College. Why should the local children of Broadclyst be penalised by outsiders?

And talking to a mother from Pinhoe really took the biscuit. When she actually runs her own business in Pinhoe, surely it makes sense for her son to go to his local school.
