NEARLY one in 10 boys needs to slim down and most teens surveyed do not drink enough water, Exeter researchers found. In the sample of 14 and 15-year-olds, nine per cent of boys and six per cent of girls were "overweight", according to BMI formulae, the Schools Health Education Unit found.
The academics, based at Manaton Court, Marsh Barton, also discovered the number of girls who would like to lose weight increases as they age from 10 to 15, but boys are less concerned about their size.See the full content of this document
