Summary
BROTHERS Nick and Jonny Horne celebrated a remarkable achievement at the weekend, as both scored centuries in a record-breaking partnership. The Topsham St James duo saw their side to a massive 163-run victory over Shaldon in a one-sided South Devon League match. The pair came together when Jonny joined his younger sibling at the crease with the score at 151 for four and only 14 overs left in the innings.
But they went on to cause carnage for the rest of the session, Nick hitting 20 fours and one six in his 123 not out from 104 balls - his first ton for the club. Jonny's knock was even more destructive, taking just 48 balls for his unbeaten 104, which included 13 fours and four sixes. Together they added a remarkable 160 off just 82 balls, setting a new Topsham league record for the fifth wicket - surpassing the 115 Jonny and Kam Singh put on against the same opponents earlier this season.See the full content of this document
