KIA is quite emotional about its newest baby, the Soul, writes Reg Burnard. It's one of the fairly new breed of crossovers - a car that fits into a variety of categories without actually having one all to itself. But it does have character; soul, even... An upright style makes it easy to get in and out and, though the luggage space isn't huge, it's easy to load.
The concept sees a wheel basically at each corner so a comfortable ride is assured. You sit in the car rather than having it clothed around you and that gives a commanding driving position with excellent visibility.
