Dave Mashiter, Points of view. November 26, makes some serious errors in his argument about climate change, insisting that "nature is responsible for climate change", and comments that "emissions from cattle and sheep alone far outstrip human contributions".
But surely, livestock production, accounting for 20 per cent of greenhouse gas emissions, is a human activity and the Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change found that man- made emissions of greenhouse gases alone could only account for the rapid changes in climate over the latter half of the 20th century, having taken into account all factors, including both man-made and natural.See the full content of this document
