PARENTS had the chance to attend an open evening hosted by a city independent school last night.

The Maynard School, in St Leonard's, which is for girls aged seven to 18, invited parents who might be interested in sending their daughters to the school to meet staff and pupils as well as enjoy drama and music performances, sporting displays and hands-on science and maths activities.
