Runners Turn Out to Help Flood-Hit Area

Summary


RUNNERS have followed the banks of the winding River Otter to help raise money for the areas which suffered in the East Devon floods of October, 2008.

The Otter Valley Rail and River Run featured both a 10k and fun run, with the longer event taking participants through the hamlets of Venn Ottery and Fluxton, Tipton, along the old railway line between Tipton St John and Harpford, before returning via the banks of the river to finish on Tipton St John playing field.
