Summary
HARRY Dolling, who has died aged 91, was a postman in Exeter, serving the city and surrounding villages for 37 years. Mr Dolling, from Ellerhayes, near Silverton, joined the RAF in 1937 as a 16- year-old from Hele's School. He served with distinction during the Second World War.
He was with the RAF from the outbreak of war in September 1939 and served in France with 218 Squadron flying Fairey Battles, renowned as being no match for enemy fighters.See the full content of this document
