PUPILS have been learning about their town's war memorial and its significance. The Tiverton branch of the Royal British Legion (RBL) invited primary schools in the town to visit and to be shown the remembrance boards as part of the Poppy Appeal. History enthusiast George Allwood, who is a member of the RBL, spoke to all the pupils about why we remember, and what role Tiverton played during the two world wars.
