Summary

AFTER a fairly good year, there was a notable lack of viewings in the latter half of December. Whilst this seasonal drop-off is inevitable, it was more pronounced than in previous years.

And then in January, when the market usually starts to warm up, it really didn't! This left us wondering if it was down to the change in stamp duty on smaller homes, or perhaps the increase in VAT. My best guess is that it was probably more due to the weather!
