SHEFFIELD Wednesday chief executive Nick Parker has called for potential buyers to step forward after the club avoided a winding- up order by being granted a 28-day adjournment by the High Court.

The npower League One club were in court yesterday in relation to an unpaid PAYE bill of Pounds 600,000 and Mr Re gistrar Jacques granted the club an extra four weeks after their lawyers claimed it was on the "verge" of a takeover deal with a local consortium.
