Diane Hillman, 47, has autism and has lived at the company's Brynsworthy care home in Teignmouth for the past six years. The UK's biggest care home operator is in the process of closing down after failing to reach a deal with its landlords over rent payments.

Landlords of 250 homes have agreed to take over running them but the future of others remains uncertain, despite bosses vowing to ensure continuity of care.
