PENSIONER Beryl Mackey fears her disabled daughter's care could be jeopardised by the crisis engulfing Southern Cross. Diane Hillman, 47, has autism and has lived at the company's Brynsworthy care home in Teignmouth for the past six years. The UK's biggest care home operator is in the process of closing down after failing to reach a deal with its landlords over rent payments.
