THE Federation of Small Businesses (FSB) has voiced fears over the loss of funding to promote domestic tourism. On the eve of the launch of the Government's tourism strategy, the lobbying organisation published a report, Tourism - a Passport to Growth, warning of the consequences of cutting funding which regional development agencies (RDAs) have used to promote tourism.
The Government is expected to suggest that the May Day bank holiday be moved to the autumn and the UK should adopt double summer time in an effort to boost the tourism sector.See the full content of this document
