YOUNGSTERS in Exmouth were delighted to be given the chance to climb aboard a lifeboat and investigate its equipment at the weekend.

The seaside town has had a lifeboat for more than 200 years and Exmouth Lifeboat Station, in Queen's Drive, was holding its ever popular annual open day, with people getting the chance to look around between 10am and 4pm on Saturday.
