EXETER Open champion Jamie Denham hit a superb break of 65 as his City Transport A beat Pinhoe B 3-2 in the Exeter & District Snooker League Transport climbed off the bottom of Division One after the win, while league leaders Pinhoe B remain ahead of GWR West B, who lost at home to Riley's B. Riley's player Ian Moore scored breaks of 30 and 31 as they downed GWR by a 4-1 margin.
Potters Bar A pulled off a cracking 4-1 win at home to Polsloe &Priory A, with the only break in the match a 33 from Polsloe's Eddie Bidder, while St Thomas A were 3-2 home winners over Pinhoe A. In Division Two Heavitree Conservatives lost two matches on the spin -- 4-1 to Civil Service and 4-1 to GWR South B. Riley's C emerged as sole leaders of the division after 3-2 wins over Pinhoe D and Topsham Conservatives A. In Civil Service A's second match they lost 4-1 at home to Pinhoe C. St Thomas B beat Division Three leaders St Thomas C 3-2, while Whipton Labour also beat Pinhoe F 3-2. Riley's D won 3-2 away to Heavitree Social, while Len Williams of GWR West C scored a 27 break to earn his side a 3-2 win over Civil Service C. Polsloe & Priory C earned a 4-1 away win over GWR South D.
