Great Tour Return Will Herald Start of Cycling Events

A FORTNIGHT of cycling celebrations in Devon will get underway with the arrival of the Great Tour in Seaton at around 5pm on Saturday, September 4. The inaugural Great Tour, a national charity cycle ride in aid of Caravan and The Prostate Cancer Charity, started in Seaton on July 3 and since then a core group of 10 riders, including Seaton resident and chairman of the Axe Valley Pedallers Alistair Cope, have pedalled their way around the coastline of Britain and have been joined by hundreds of supporters on different stages of their route.

By the time they reach the finish in Seaton they will have covered a total of 6,600km over 64 exhilarating days.
