AN arts organisation which was threatened with closure has won a reprieve.

The Centre for Contemporary Art and the Natural World in Haldon Forest Park, known as CCANW, has revealed that its reapplication for funding to the Arts Council for its 2010-11 programme has been successful. After five years of Arts Council funding CCANW was threatened with closure after having its bid for funds unexpectedly turned down.
