AS good as nature programmes might now be to watch on television thanks to HD channels, nothing can possibly beat the experience of seeing wildlife in real life with your own two eyes. Giving people the chance to have that encounter are the RSPB's avocet cruises. Running regularly from now until February 25, this year marks the 30th anniversary of the cruises which begin from Topsham, Exmouth and Starcross.
