Devon air passengers could soon pay less for their air fares after MEPs backed a Conservative proposal that will give greater choice and clearer information when booking their next holiday.

Neil Parish, Conservative MEP for the South West, was speaking after the European Parliament has passed a proposed EU regulation which creates a code of conduct for Computerised Reservation Systems, used by high street and online travel agents to make 60 per cent of airline bookings.
