EXCITED shoppers queued outside the Apple store in Princesshay to get their hands on the new iPad 2 which went on sale at 5pm.
Staff at the store assisted shoppers by erecting crash barriers after some queued all day. A spokeswoman for Princesshay said its staff helped the gadget fans to form an orderly queue and minimise the disrup-tion to other shoppers as they waited to snap up the popular handheld computer.
