DEVON County Council has spent thousands of pounds providing cycle paths, so that cyclists can safely travel to and from their places of work.
So why is it that cyclists still persist in using the road and slowing up the flow of traffic? Do they need legislation to make them ride safely? Do they need notices on the side of buses? Do they need educating? Perhaps cyclists who use the road when a cycle path is provided should pay a road tax to generate money for the city coffers and be required to pass a driving test like all other road users.See the full content of this document
