ONE of Britain's most notorious killers, who shot a supermarket tycoon's wife six times during an abortive kidnap attempt, has had a challenge to the length of his sentence rejected.

Keith John Rose, 62, shot Juliet Rowe, 42, several times in the back after she tried to escape his bid to kidnap her and take her for ransom from her home in Budleigh Salterton in 1981.
