THEY'RE at it again, the planners and spenders. This time it is only Pounds 700,000 (and anyway there's a grant, so it isn't real money), for a new bridge which, if we thought a bit about it, we could manage perfectly well without.
I refer to the bridge over the River Clyst, near Topsham, for which there are several alternative simple traffic management solutions which would cause negligible interruptions, or delays, at a fraction of the cost.See the full content of this document
