THE harvest festival weekend at St Swithun's Church, Shobrooke, is expected to have raised a record amount of money.
The event, which was attended by several hundred people, started with a service at the holy well and finished with Canon Tom Honey, of Exeter Cathedral, preaching at the closing Evensong. Following tradition, after the children's service rose petals were thrown from the church tower for the youngsters to catch.See the full content of this document
