I refer to Cllr Natalie Cole's letter regarding Exeter City Council losing pounds5m of tax payers' money in the Icelandic banking collapse, Points of view, May 26.

Ms Cole seems to have missed the point of Mr P Mulholland's earlier letter altogether. She seems to think that Exeter City Council can be excused because it invested the money "before any significant concern was voiced".
