I AM surprised that the board of the Devon Primary Care Trust gave unanimous approval for the relocation of upper GI cancer surgery.

Exeter is an established centre of excellence. The pioneering minimally invasive surgery dramatically improves recovery and quality of life. The Exeter unit has the most experience of this technique outside America and is training surgeons from across Europe.
