Charity Gets Boost From Alien Invader

ALTHOUGH Doctor Who wasn't there to do anything about it, one of the Daleks made its way into the city centre on Saturday.

The unexpected visit which took shoppers by surprise was all in aid of the launch of new toy shop, Who-Exeter in Sidwell Street. Donations were also collected for the Scope charity, which helps people with cerebral palsy. Shop owner John Hadlow said: "It was the perfect chance for Doctor Who fans to meet the metal menaces up close and personal as we had a resident Dalek staying with us in the shop."
