A UNIVERSITY of Exeter lecturer has scoffed at claims that 8,000- year-old Cornish cave paintings show prehistoric women eating pasties.
Art historian Dr Geri Parlby, a lecturer at the university, said that a suggestion that ancient artwork on the Lizard Peninsula shows an early form of the dish was "a fine example of the Cornish practical joke."See the full content of this document
