IT is a view which has delighted visitors to Bicton Park for decades and it certainly captured the attention of Echo reader Robert Beer.
Mr Beer, of Lisa Close in Exeter, submitted this image from the historic location which shows frost on the manicured lawns around the fountains. The botanical gardens at Bicton were established nearly 300 years ago. The estate had passed through several families before being sold to Sir Robert Denys. His daughter married Sir Henry Rolle and the property became inherited by the Rolle family.See the full content of this document
