RARE photographs in a soon to be published book, One Man's War in Exeter, will feature the survivors of HMS Exeter marching on parade through the city's Queen Street.

One hundred survivors from the doomed ship, which was sunk in a battle off Java, were invited by the Mayor of Exeter to attend a luncheon at the Guildhall on March 1, 1946.
