Paul Atwood, a Lympstone-based Royal Marine, had won a bronze at the weekend in the British four-man bobsleigh. He planned to stay in the team with driver Sean Olsson, fellow Para NCO Dean Ward and civilian Courtney Rumbolt.
Atwood had described the finish to the Olympic race as "nail biting", saying he never wanted to go through that pressure again. After a change of mind, the quartet were now already looking ahead to the next games in Salt Lake City in 2002.See the full content of this document
