ROADS around a rural part of Mid Devon will "struggle to cope" with the extra traffic created if a controversial scheme to build a biogas plant is given planning permission, claim opponents of the scheme.

The proposal for an anaerobic digestion plant in open countryside at Nomansland has seen more than 200 letters sent to Mid Devon District Council, with just 12 of them in favour.
