BIN collections, already two days behind normal schedules because of the Christmas and New Year break, were further delayed in the city yesterday.
Crews went out at 6am as usualbutwere calledbackafter two bin men fell on icy pavements in separate incidents in Exwick and Cowick. Oneinjuredhisankleandthe other had to be taken to the Royal Devon & Exeter Hospital's emergency department with a head injury.
