EAST Devon MP Hugo Swire has welcomed East Devon District Council's planned re-appraisal of the estimates for house-building and job creation in the district to 2026.

Mr Swire said his concerns over development in the area were well known. He congratulated district council leader Sara Randall Johnson and the authority for responding to concerns by undertaking to look again at what he said was a contentious issue.
