Summary
THERE was not a lot of racing by Exmouth Harriers over the bank holiday weekend but those who did compete performed well. Once again Ellie Sutcliffe was most impressive. She travelled to Guernsey for Sunday's marathon and was a little nervous, having been installed as favourite in the race newsletter. She need not have worried as she finished sixth overall in 3hrs 3mins 49secs, comfortably the first woman home and very close to getting under three hours. Sutcliffe now has a break from racing as she returns to her job at a boarding school in Dorset.
Back on the mainland there were three Exmouth Harriers at the Battle of Sedgemoor 10k on Sunday and they all recorded personal bests.See the full content of this document
