Play Ranger Diary Dates

THE Exeter Play rangers are busy throughout the year but also take part in lots of extra events during the summer holidays. The team currently set-up every week in four local parks: Mondays -- Wonford Playing Fields (Chestnut Avenue); Wednesdays -- St Thomas Pleasure Ground ; Thursdays -- Belmont Park and Fridays -- Summerway Park. The sessions are 3.30pm to 6pm during term times and 2pm to 5pm during the holidays.

STORE bosses have hit back at claims that the city has a higher percentage of empty shops than almost anywhere else in the south of England. Research by Local Data Company claims Exeter is in the top 10 worst affected town centres, with 14.9 per cent of its retail capacity vacant.
