Trial Due for Machete Case

ALLEGATIONS that a city man was involved in a burglary during which a machete was brandished will be heard at an Exeter Crown Court trial. Glen Campbell, 19, of Headland Crescent Whipton, denied the break- in at St Sidwells Court, in the city centre, when he appeared before Exeter Crown Court.

THE police helicopter was called into action yesterday after a car was suspected of having no insurance. The vehicle's details had been automatically checked during an automatic number-plate recognition operation and it was found to be uninsured.
